So much to catch up on. I really want to start blogging again, I know no one reads this anymore, but its a good outlet nonetheless.

Topic #1: Renegades: I've totally fallen head over heals in love with this corps! Best decision I've made in a long time. I'm improving my skill so much and I've made so many awesome friends.  I spend my weeks waiting to go to camp, that is how much I dig it! The show this year, Renegade Planet: A Space Opera, looks like it is going to be EPIC for sure! We're sooo going to kickass at DCA this year! I plan to be involved with this corps until I'm too old to walk. =)

Key Players:

the colorguard - I can't separate them out, they're all so fun and quirky! And I get to be on guard with one of the kids I taught, Mat, which is interesting in and of itself haha but I love everyone on guard =)

landers - my boss, he dragged me to the open house....literally...kidnapped me to force me to go. soooo glad he did! he doesn't go as much anymore but I still owe him for leading me to the corps

ken - one of the first friends I made in the corps. He's a 43 yr old horn player, and I'm pretty sure he wants in my pants lol, but he's cool nonetheless and we're becoming really good friends (and drunken buddies!)

mary beth and jeff - the crazy texans! they're super nice and always good for a laugh. They participated in my epic San Fran night haha

lee - she's pretty cool. I'm still getting to know her...but I do know she takes badass action shots!

trung - creeeeepy asian guy who is obsessed with me at camp...the whole corps makes it a point to save me from him ha

heckmans - mike and matt...the twins....they are sorta legend in this corps i guess you could say. the angry one (mike) and the funny one (matt). I haven't really talked to Matt much...he seems funny, but I've known mike for a while (he also works at the high school). 

 

Topic #2: Graduation: So in less than 2 weeks, I'll be an alumni of Cal Poly....weeeeeeird! I'm really excited for it tho. Its strange looking back on my four years here...the friends that have come and gone, the classes I've taken, the mistakes I've made, the loves that have passed.....So many memories here. I know I'm not going far away, but its still bittersweet to look back on....*sigh* we'll see how this goes I guess...new adventure anyone?

 

 

....I totally dig blogging again....woo!

So this quarter had been really busy. Here are some highlights....

I go to school for 11 hours a day on tuesday and thursday and work monday and wednesday and some fridays and saturdays. I'm really diggin' being a colorguard coach again! Its making it harder for me to graduate this year...maybe I'll find a job here and stick around. Plus I don't want to disappoint my "boyfriend" lol



This is Sam. He is a drummer for the high school I coach for. He likes to pretend he's dating me haha oh drummers....they always were so sly...


While we're on the subject of boyfriends....I no longer have one. I broke things off with Travis (after 1 year and 9 months together). These lyrics sum up pretty well how I felt when I did it...
"so we're talking forever you almost feel better but that is no excuse for tonight...you see its never bad enough to just leave or give up but its never good enough to feel right....now I'm lying on the table with everything you said it will all catch up eventually, well it caught up and honestly the weight of my decisions were impossible to hold, they were never yours, they were never yours...."

that being said...we're still good friends, best terms I've ever been on with someone I've broken up with so I'm pleased. I think he knew that everything I was saying was right deep down. So ya...
